Your meter data is read in your browser and never leaves your device. We never receive your meter readings, your NMI, or your usage figures — none of it reaches us at all.

We use PostHog for anonymised usage analytics. PostHog may collect your IP address and browser metadata, and data may be stored on servers in the United States. We do not enable session recording or autocapture. We respect the Do Not Track signal — if set, no analytics are collected. We send anonymised events about feature usage and estimated savings (no meter data, no usage figures, nothing that can identify you). We use this data only to improve Nemity. Your settings and uploaded meter profile are saved in your browser’s local storage and IndexedDB. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it using “Clear saved data” on the main page.

Under the Australian Privacy Act 1988, you can ask us to access or correct any personal information we hold about you. Given we collect very little (mainly your IP via PostHog, which we don’t store ourselves), there is little to access. Email hello@nemity.com.au with any request or complaint.
